Nuclear Hormone Receptors in Human Health and Disease

The Cummins lab combines the tools of molecular biology, physiology and analytical chemistry to study the molecular mechanisms and whole body physiology of nuclear receptor activation in human health and disease.

The lab is working toward understanding the mechanisms of regulating nuclear receptors in metabolic diseases such as diabetes and obesity.
